Bari Nazer is one of the most populous and richest provinces of Baranxtu. Located in the heart of the Northern Industrial Belt, it has the second lowest unemployment rate at just .9%.
As the oldest province of Baranxtu, its cities built in traditional Baranxtuan architecture have become a favorite destination for tourists, as have the sandy beaches on the northern shore.
Name
The name is derived from the province's original name, which was "Barei ā Natjesa"; Barei was a Baranxtiman colony established on the western coast of the province and Natjesa was a colony established on the northern coast. When the two colonies were united, there name became simply "Barei and Natjesa".
Through sound change, the name then became "Bari Nazer". The exact etymology of the two original provinces, however, remains unknown.

Flag
</div>The current flag of Bari Nazer was designed and implemented in 2006, after the Subnational Entity Act.
The field is divided into three fields of different shape and size.
The topmost blue stripe stands for the ocean, the middle green field represents the Baranxtiman majority and the yellow field at the bottom symbolizes the joyful future of Bari Nazer.
The two symbols in the field are the Baranxeï Script letters for B and N, standing for "Bari Nazer". It is one of only two flags to feature letters, the other being the flag of Siraŋe.
