Hybrid offspring of the antelope and the basset hound. The antlers resemble that of the antelope, but the body is like a besset hound. Standing 11 to 15 inches high at the shoulder, the basselope has a long body and heavy bones and weighs 25 to 40 pounds. Basselopes feed on pop tarts. Most of the deaths in the basselope population is due to clogged arteries, (Basselopes like butter on their pop tarts).
