Before the Battle
The Penguins took the chance of settling in new colonies. The chose Galapagose as it was a nice tropical environment, with easily adaptable environment, so the penguins wouldn't mess up the ecosystems there. Plus it was near the equator, and Polar Bears hate heat. The Penguins had only set up a few homes, and the majority of their weapons were machettes at the time, with some cannons. But when the Polar Bears received information that more weaponary would be transported to the island, the Bears acted fast.
Knowing the supplies would come soon, the Polar Bears set up a Naval Blockade around the island, stopping anything from getting in or out, plus they started bombarding the island with their canons. The supplies were going to come in 5 days, so the penguins had to hold out until then. Knowing they could not survive a conterassault, the penguins just held their ground on the island. The penguins survived from the Banana Herbs growing on the island.
On May 31st, the Penguins knew the supplies would come. So they devised a plan and at night they swam out at sea to the south side of the blockade. Bringing large pointy sticks, they Penguins sunk many of the Polar Bears boats. The Supplies quickly came in that morning. But knowing the importance of this island, the Polar Bears concentrated their forces now on the South side of the island. But with more pointy sticks, Battleships, and more artilley, the Penguins were ready for a fight. A total of 40 ships with 35 artillery guns whent against the new threat of 95 Polar Bear ships. But the penguins fought on with their pointy sticks. The Penguin's fight started turning in their favor. One by one, the Bears ships started sinking, as the Penguins experienced very few losses.
</div>The Invasion
Soon the Penguins had the south side of the island secure, with new rescources comming in. The Polar Bears saw the advantage to come and advance through the North. The Polar Bears were quick to secure the Isla Fernandina and Isla Bartaloome. But the Penguins held the main island. On June 30th the Polar bears invaded the Northern Part of the main island. And through a tough two week were able to control a portion of the mountain at Darwin Mountain. Then stalemate. For another two weeks, small advances would be made.
The Polar Bears Defeat
Getting hot in the summers sun, the polar bear's moral dropped significantly. Figuiring this out the penguins had a plan. They took massive stalks from Banana herbs and built a giant Penguin, and gave the Giant penguin a giant stick. When they moved the massive penguin to the Bears, the bears shook in fear and ran away. The Penguins took up the advance. And once the Polar Bears left, the Penguins raised their spears and screamed the ceremonial phrase- "waka waka waka"
