What is Battlegrounds?

Battlegrounds is an unofficial NationStates war add-on. This allows players of NationStates to go to war against other nations using military units they purchase in Battlegrounds. It is free to download and play from Zooptek.

How Does Battlegrounds Work?

After you download the client, login using your normal NationStates login. The game will log you in and parse your nation's homepage. By reading your nation's homepage, Battlegrounds will determine your income and your military's morale. With the money in your military budget, you can purchase units in which to attack other nations or defend yourself from invaders. Be sure to read the Help file for details on combat and creating units.

Major Events of Battlegrounds

July 2005: Game first Created and released for public beta

September 2005: Nation Guard Alliance formed to counter the League of Small Regions and the Triumvirate

September-December 2005 Major Scuffles between NGA and LoSR which largely ended in the favour of the league. NGA goes inavctive to presumably rebuild forces

January 2006 League Member Eurean gets a war declared on himself by members of the region Change.

February 2006 Truce declared between Change and League after it is revealed that Change was multiing
