Variations

There are two different variations of Bellevuian. Though they do differ, they're more like Spanish and Portugese in that speakers of one can pick up on the other relatively quickly and easily.

Northern Bellevuian

In Northern Bellevuian, the grammatical structure is set up so that the adjective is ALWAYS before the noun. For example, the sentence "The ball is red" is incorrect in Northern Bellevuian. Instead, you would say "This is a red ball". The language itself sounds quite a bit like English, although there are major spanish influencers.

Southern Bellevuian

Southern Bellevuian is grammatically structured much like English, although it sounds more like Spanish than English. It is the least spoken of the two, though at least one major tribe (the Lase-Homeben tribe) speaks it exclusively.
