Bhumerick People's Party (ocassionaly known as the 'People's Party' or BPP) are the largest party in the Bhumerick region of Niploma.

Politics

The People's Party is the most progressive of all parties in Bhumerick. Although wishing for complete independence from Niploma the BPP sees this as an eventual goal. This goal, according to party manifestos, will be reached in three teirs:

  • An en masse movement declaring Bhumerick should be independent
  • A regional Assembly that means Niploma recougnises the movement
  • An independent republic to be named, The Republic of Bhumerick.

Social Politics

Unlike the Southern Seperatist Communist Party or the Niplomian Communist Army that re-sparked seperatism the BPP is relatively social-democratic in its views. Observers argue much of their social policies echo that of the Social-Democrats. The party appears to believe that once independence is gained a strong army would be needed - perhaps to work alongside a persuasive police force. Although this may seem heavy-handed to many Niplomians it is understandable when one understands Bhumerick's violent history.

The party is interested in being a UN member and getting involved in external politics.

Peformance

  • Head of the Southern Niploma Assembly
  • Argued to be largest party; recieving most votes in elections
