Björn Cooper, Jr. was the president of Ceorana from 2034 - 2046. He led the executive branch and represented the country generically to the world, along with his Secretary of State Benjamin Qiro.
Background
Cooper was born in Tzatzing, Ceorana on April 1, 1983, to Björn C. Cooper (Sr.) and Kari Randall. He studied journalism and politics at the University of Ceorana and worked under, and eventually replaced, his father at the Ceorana Herald before becoming active in politics in 2025. He moved to New Boston when the capital was moved there from Tzatzing in 2035.
Political Roles
Many members of the Pre-Revolution Ceoranan Executive Council were found to be corrupt, partly through reporting work by Cooper and his fellow journalists. Cooper was saddened by the fact that his father was indeed part of the scandal and had to leave the country, but was bound by his responsibilities as a journalist to accurately write about the story. In fact, he actually become a leading member of The Reformers, a group that tried to reform the Ceoranan government system into one more inclined towards capitalism. After the revolution was over, he was elected the leader of Ceorana.
