Field Marshal Brand Aurelius Christensen was the second and final President of the fascist Social Republic of Texas. The son of Brigadier General Aurelius Adolf Christensen, Christensen was deposed in the Tejano Civil War, and is the only former President of H-Town Tejas still alive. Currently living in exile in Parthia with his wife Lynx Christensen, he continues to claim to be the legitimate ruler of the country. Most of Tejanos remember the younger Christensen as a corrupt, narcissistic, alcoholic womanizer, which is pretty much accurate.

Early Life

Christensen was born six years after his father seized power in Tejas in the capital city Aurelia, D.C. Throughout his childhood, he was spoiled, with a huge staff of servants to wait on his every whim. His teachers complained about this, as young Brand was extremely disruptive and a merciless bully, but when they voiced these concerns to the elite private school which he attended, the fascist secret police would brutally beat them in public as "traitors to the great Texian nation," then kill them in private.

Brought up as Brigadier General Christensen's anointed successor, Brand nevertheless behaved in a manner that did not befit this status. He developed a drinking problem and was a notorious womanizer even when his father's party stood against actions like these as "horrible transgressions against the Bible." He graduated from high school and Aurelius Christensen University as valedictorian, even though his surviving teachers all said that "he was in class about one day every three months." The Texian National Military Academy granted him the rank of Colonel after an equally prestigious attendance record, and he joined the Texian National Fascist Party in 1966, and was immediately appointed Deputy Leader of the National Commission of the party. In 1967, then-Vice President of the SRT, Robert Costello, had a suspicious "accident," and young Brand was appointed to his post as well. As his father's health began to decline, the younger Christensen began to give himself more power through "Vice Presidential Decrees," and began to dip even deeper in the state's pockets.

In Power

On May 17, 1981, Aurelius Adolf Christensen died of heart failure. As typical to his father's cult of personality, the nation was to mourn his death for a month. After that month had passed, Brand Christensen was sworn in as President of the Social Republic of Texas and Supreme Leader of the National Commission of the party. As could be expected by his previous behavior, Christensen was an irresponsible, corrupt ruler who used more money from the budget to build himself grandiose palaces than on Tejano schools, healthcare, or welfare. Any money he did spend on those areas was reserved strictly for whites, and often, it didn't even get to them. He blamed the entirety of the country's problems on "Commies, fags, Catholics, spics, negroes, and Japs." His personality cult was even more stifling than his father's, as he renamed the TNFP to the Brand Christensen National Fascist White People's Party, forced all Tejano families to keep at least ten pictures of him in their house, promoted himself to Field Marshal, and even changed history books to say that he had accomplished fanciful, physically impossible deeds which, as a direct quote from a text, "our glorious leader Brand Aurelius Christensen did with the grace of God, for he is the incarnation of God on this earth." He stayed in power by an army and police force with huge funding and almost unlimited powers. In 1986, he married a 13-year old girl, Lynx Stuart, whom he had four children by.

Crumble of the Regime

In October of 1987, Christensen finally began his fall from "grace." The army, despite completely disproportionate spending on it, was rotted to the core with corruption, and had extreme difficulties stopping the Tejano Proletariat Army of Fujita Ichirou, which not only garnered the support of almost the entirety of the non-white population, but parts of the white population as well. The siege of Aurelia, one of Christensen's few enclaves of support on the mainland, began in 1990. Christensen retreated into an opulent underground bunker beneath the Presidential Palace, never appearing in public. Almost all food in the city was diverted to the army, police, and himself, and eventually, the population of the capital turned against him. In 1993, the city's people took up arms with the TPA, and stormed the Presidential Palace, using a disgruntled butler's key to get into the bunker and trash and loot it. Christensen and his wife barely escaped in the Presidential Bell 212. They left behind their four children, Brand Christensen II, Alois Christensen, Michaela Christensen, and Maurice Christensen, in the bunker, where they were killed by rioters.

Out of Power

Christensen has since taken up residence in a manor on Kish Island his father ordered built a year before he died. Almost completely closed off to the outside world, he continues to act as President of the Social Republic of Texas, issuing Presidential Decrees and introducing himself as "Glorious President-for-Life Field Marshal Brand Aurelius Christensen, Sovereign Ruler of the World in General and the Social Republic of Texas in Particular, Destroyer of the Scourge of Communism, Great Godlike Savior of the White and Christian People, Commander of the Texian Armed Forces, Supreme Leader of the National Commission of the Brand Christensen National Fascist White People's Party, and Shining Example to Every Man of the World."

He is almost universally hated in Tejas, even by his fellow fascists (according to Dallas fascist leader Mykolas Astrauckas, "Our cause has no credibility anymore thanks to him. He was a key part of Communism coming to power here, and deserves to die for it."). He has been convicted of hundreds of thousands of counts of murder, corruption, genocide, and many other charges, and, according to orders from Judge Julia Cisneros Saavedra, "will be executed the second he steps on Tejano soil." However, there has been a stunningly small amount of initiative to have Parthia extradite him. According to Chairman Nagaraku Ryouta, "I'd like to see him die in the most brutal fashion, but what matters is that he can't hurt anybody over there." Democratic Solidarity Front leader Kong Shui has expressed similar sentiments, "I hope he leaves Parthia and gets killed by the Communists, but, it probably won't happen and I'm okay with it."
