History

Before Braxis VI Date

[BBVID 23]: Braxis V is overwhelmed with a destructive plague killing all inhabitants. A number of uninfected men and women evacuate in a public dropship and fly to the neighbouring region of Poorlu. The refugees are immediately placed in quarantine for a year, to ensure that the deadly virus doesn't sweep into the nation of Ko'hal.

[BBVID 22]: The 38 men and 26 women are released, and immediately begin to draw up plans to reconstruct the vast city in a more suitable location in the southerly region of the planet. An area rich with natural resources that had not yet been tapped into. The 64 strong team recruit more people from Ko'hal to help draw up plans, gather materials, form a social and political hierarchy and eventually construct the city.

[BBVID 9]: 371 Individuals fly from Poorlu to the region of Esher, and set up camp around the lush grassland of Lake C15, a freshwater lake which will provide the force with fresh drinking water and fishing grounds. The first building, a safehouse is built in the third season, and painted a soft orange colour. The house can still be seen, now a protected monument by the government.

[BBVID 1]: A freak wind storm sweeps over Esher, destroying five buildings and a mag-rail station, pushing the cart off the tracks and into deep sand. Opening of the city is delayed an entire year while repairs are made and wind-defences are put into place.

Braxis VI Date

[BVID 0]: Braxis VI is opened and the now bristling population, boosted by immigrants and half a generation of reproduction, of 500 move into the city. A scheme is put into place to elect a small government to manage the city.

[BVID 20]: Twenty years later, and by opening five main road networks, two landing strips and eight mag-rail lines, the population of Braxis IV doubles, triples, then quadruples. By the third season the nation has met its first Million residents. City limits bulge and a second city, aptly named "City 2" is built 25 miles around the side of Lake C15, this too is overpopulated within the year.

[BVID 34]: Two more cities sprout out of nowhere and a transport line is made to the saltwater marshes of Lake C14. It is found to be decent farmland for vegetables and fruit, and an outpost is built. Following the trend with all of Braxis, the burgeoning workforce teams up to build yet another city.

[BVID 34-50]: The next few years are filled with heavy construction work, the original city upon the shores of Lake C15 bulges with population which is increasingly unruly, and the government is reformed, more centralised with better decision making powers.

[BVID 52]: With the new government in place, and stability slowly coming back to Braxis VI, the leader Lord Grimmie sends satellite signals to neighbouring planets to let them know of the new nations existence, putting it on the stellar map as an official city.

[BVID 60]: Commander Ali O Han of the ship Peacekeeper makes a maiden voyage to the far reaches of space on the first of many routine support trips. Immediately he is alerted to a brutal war upon the planet Earth's surface and suggests peace negotiations should be held within the ship. Unfortunately several members of the negotiations got out of hand and many shots were fired, resulting in 'O Han relieving himself from the peace mission. Several alliances were proposed afterwards however, by Lord Grimmie.

[BVID 73]: The entire city of Braxia is torn from it's foundations, leaving only dust and rubble in its place, the Greenditch experiment resulted in a catastrophic failure. Four months later, Braxia landed heavily on a completely different planet - eight years of teleportation research wasted as the sphere that controlled the move suffered a terminal meltdown.

[BVID 74]: One year after the Greenditch incident, Braxis VI makes contact with other infant countries that seem to have begun sprouting up around the planet.
