During a brief period in time, c. WC4-WC6, Brazillico were the kings of NationStates football, plowing over and raping almost all nations which stood in their path towards supremacy. They were on top of the world though it wasn't always that way. With the growing popularity of football within the NS World, the introduction of a qualification place was implemented for World Cup 3, making Brazillico's path to the finals considerable more difficult than four years prior. But this team was much more seasoned and made it through qualifying with a 3-1-2 record, paving their way into the World Cup. The third instillation of the World Cup was a precursor for the success Brazillico was about to enjoy and showed the world that they could compete with the big boys. After drawing their first two matches of qualification against heavily favored Quohog and KLM, Brazillico were in need of a victory in their final match of qualification against the unknown Lemmitanians. In a matchup that would be repeated eight years from then in the World Cup 5 finals, the Brazillicans dominated Lemmitania en route to a 4-0 victory. This victory was a coming out party for 20 year old midfielder Esteban de Jesus, who scored two goals and set up another with a perfect ball from just over the halfway line. The Brazillican's glory was short lived though, as they ran into the eventual champions Giant Zucchini in the round of 16, losing 2-0.
