History
Created in 1957BC as the Republic of Brydog, Handsyter tribe leader, Jopesf Handsyter was elected the first president of Brydog in April 3,1957 BC. Since then the nation and her people keep their liberal tradition and ideas through out time.
Politics
The Liberal Democratic Republic is a federal republic with a full presidential system, which the president is the head of state and government. The president has the full title of the President of the Republic and Lord Chancellor of the Commonwealths. The Republic Congress is the Leg. branch of the nation. The Congress is headed by the Vice-President of The Republic, and is split into two "houses". The Republic Senate and the House of the Republic. The judical branch is the Federal Supreme Court, which is the highest court in the land. The FSC is made of 7 justices with a Chief Justice heading the court. The LDRA has been traditional, a liberal nation and has a high level of civil and policial freedoms.
Military
The Brydog military is formed by 5 branches. The Republic Army(RA), Republic Navy(RN), Republic Air Force(RAF), Republic Marine Corps(RMC), and the Federal Coastal Patrol(FCP). Each branch has a equal number of units. The Brydog military also has a militia force called the National Guard. Each branch has commander-in-chief which reports to the Sec. Of Def. and the President of the Republic.
