Bumboat is a large and friendly island nation. Its shape is so convoluted so that although there are over a billion people on it nobody is more than walking distance from a beach. Its climate is tropical, varying between 70 and 90 degrees F from winter to summer with temps over 100 or below 60 being very very rare.

All the beaches are nude and the tax rates are in the single digits for all. The five star beach resorts are famed throughout the world and attract may tourists. It is a peaceful nation preferring diplomacy and UN sanctions to warfare. Free speech and the rights of the individual are held sacred. The inhabitants do not depend on tourism though as the economy is doing well.
