The Land Department

The Land Department is one of two Departments that compose the The Burnsian Desert's Military. The requirements for entry are less strenuous than that for the Sea Department. Although the pay for the lower-ranking soldiers is quite low, the Department pays for enlisted members' housing, utility bills, sales taxes, and children's education. The Land Department also administrates the State Police that patrol the cities of The Burnsian Desert.

Army

The Burnsian Army is easily the backbone of Burnsian land forces. Over 37 million strong, the Army maintains a constant presence in the cities and highways of TBD. It has been involved in every single conflict in Burnsian history, from the Shooban Wars to the Automagfreek Invasion.

Weapondry:

Burnsian Intelligence Agency

The Land Department also has jurisdiction over the Burnsian Intelligence Agency, or BIA. The BIA handles all clandestine intelligence operations inside and outside TBD. It is widely known that the BIA also has initiated and kept contact with intelligent, extraterrestrial life, and regularly tortures high-ranking prisoners of war for information. It is not known how many BIA operatives are currently stationed in TBD or overseas. The current director of the BIA is Minor General Lamar Atto.

Wardogs

The Burnsian Wardogs are the special forces wing of the Land Department. The recruits are taken directly from Burnsian Army and BIA units. In the Wardogs, there are only four ranks: Member, Sergeant, Chief, and Commander. The Members make up the bulk of the organization; they are the regular soldiers. The Sergeants lead the squads of 15. The Chiefs lead the Companies of 40 squads, and the Commander leads the entire Wardogs office.

Air Force

The Burnsian Air Force is not as emphasized as the Burnsian Army or Navy; it is only made up of the comparatively small size of 11,646,650 men. The Air Force's responsiblity is mainly to guard the Burnsian territorial land and near-coastal waters. It is rarely seen in expeditionary combat. The Air Force's ground crews model that of Israeli ones; they are trained to turn jets around as quickly as possible to get them back into the air. Despite the small size of the Air Force, the technology they possess is extremely potent.

The Sea Department administrates the offices of the Navy, the Helljumpers, the Strategic and Tactical Defensive Commands, the Marines, the Coast Guard, the Coastal Defense Network, Immigration, and the Royal Guard that protects the leader of the Burnsian Desert. The Sea Department also pays for its sailors all the same expenses that the Land Department does.

The navy is key in the transportation of troops, the bombardment of shorelines, and long-range target destruction.
