The nation of Byardkuria was formed in The North Pacific in January of 2005, during the reign of Pixiedance. On receipt of a telegram requesting an unendorsement of the reigning delegate, the Byardkurian government examined a number of testimonies and documents and, predicated largely upon a distaste for the Codex, decided to align itself with what was then known as the Underground, which would later become the North Pacific Confederation, an opposition government to the NPO-heavy sitting regime.

Byardkuria was happy to bide its time as an occasional participant until its people awoke one morning in April to find themselves rooming with Kandarin for endorsing Stars of Sky, and refusing to endorse Pixiedance (Moldavi). After seeing a post on Old Blue in which Stars of Sky offered haven in Stars to victims of the purge, Byardkuria moved in, and became one of the first permanenet residents of the new region. Shortly thereafter, Byardkuria was designated as Secretary of State of Stars, charged with maintenance of foreign relations with other regions and various alliances. In this role, Byardkuria was deeply involved in coordination of military support amongst the allies of Stars, and worked to galvanize and direct much of the support that led to the installation of Stars of Sky as Delegate of The North Pacific in June 2005.

Since that time, Byardkuria has returned to serious activity in The North Pacific, and serves as the leader of Stars in its founder's absence.
