The CBF-101 Tripper is the Asgarnian Naval Force's only operational VTOL naval aircraft. They operate exclusively from the Tye Verna class Medium Carriers and the Athios class Light Carriers purchased from Granzi.

Development

The CBF-101 was developed to stock new medium and light aircraft carriers purchased from an international company. Since these aircraft carriers cannot handle heavy fighters like the CBF-113 and the F/A-103, the aircraft were developed to keep a fighter force present even on light aircraft carriers.

Features

The CBF-101 features a hands-free landing system. The aircraft can negotiate a telemetry/telecommand link with a computer system in the aircraft carrier which allows it to be guided onto the deck with no interaction from the pilot.

The aircraft is painted in RADAR-absorbent material, giving the aircraft a better chance against RADAR-guided missiles and evasion of enemy RADAR systems.
