The CBF-113 Sea Spectre is a carrier-borne aircraft whose role is keeping up and matching land-based multi-role fighter jets.

It combines classic design with modern aspects to create a highly powerful aircraft.

Armament

The CBF-113 carries a standard 27mm Oerlikon cannon with 600 rounds. The aircraft is also capable of carrying extra gun pods to supplement mission roles.

Rockets

The CBF-113 can carry the 5" Zuni and the 2.75" Hydra. It uses a three-tier pylon system to carry the maximum amount of rockets on a mission.

Bombs

The Sea Spectre can carry many bombs, including all bombs in the Asgarnian Fighter Bomb Inventory. Notably, it often carries BLU-108 Sensor Fuzed Weapon, the CBU-94 Blackout Bomb, and the CBU-72 Fuel Air Explosive bomb.

Missiles

The CBF-113 is capable of carrying any fighter-borne missile in the Asgarnian inventory. This includes the AAM-37, the AGM-88 HARM, and often, the AIM-120.

Other

The Sea Spectre is able to carry up to 2 1,500 Pound External Fuel Tanks. Also, it is cabable of carrying Electronic Counter Measure pods or Jamming pods. It is equipped with 48 flares in the tail to distract heat-seeking missiles. These flares are unique, in that they are made of thermite. They burn hotter than your average flare, and deflect missiles better.

Heads-Up Displays

The CBF-113 carries a smart HUD that is capable of locking on to targets at the plane's rear. It incorporates a smart fire system that uses the assistance of a supercomputer on board to signal the pilot when to fire to acheive maximum damage and probability of hit.

Electronics and Radar

The aircraft uses a state-of-the-art radar system that is able to detect threats at 400 miles. There is also a Rear-Threat Radar that alerts the pilot to the presence of possible theats at the rear of the aircraft.

All of the electronics on the aircraft are EMP hardened and the computer systmes are designed to ignore all intrusive programs without the pre-approved entry code. The entire aircraft is linked to a main system that controls weapons fire, flight management, and all of the other systems. The computer is able to detect a stall and correct the stall if the pilot has passed out, and the computer will automatically go to auto pilot mode if there has been no steering adjustments for 10 minutes. It is also able to detect the possibility of a nose-dive crash, and will correct if the aircraft gets too close to the ground with no manual input from the pilot.

Variants

• Block 1

The Block 1 variant is the baseline model, usually the model that is exported. It does not include the thermite flares or the rear-facing radar.

• Block 2

This is the advanced model. It is only for Asgarnian military forces. It comes standard with more features and amenities than the Block 1.

• Marine

The Marine version is the model that Marine forces use. It incorporates a removable JATO rocket system for short take-offs. It also includes a parachute for landing on short runways.
