CSBS Geesemonkey

The CSBS Geesemonkey is the flagship of the Bostopian Navy. There has been a CSBS Geesemonkey since the establishment of Bostopia in 705.

The first CSBS Geesemonkey was little more than an advanced Cog, but little records remain of this. However, it is known it was sunk in a battle with Laquaris. Hence, nowadays, no Laquaris are allowed onboard the CSBS Geesemonkey, as either a civilian or naval sailor.

After furthur advancements, the CSBS Geesemonkey became probably the largest Galleon on the Herrick or Capletic Seas, keeping with Bostopia's strong naval traditions. The only ships known to rival Bostopia's were those of Vladmiristak.

The previous Geesemonkey to the current one was involved in a collision with the rapidly-ailing VS Tresigrad. The Tresigrad, a nuclear powered vessel, went full steam into the stern of the Geesemonkey. The collision created a massive nuclear reaction in the Tresigrad, creating what was in effect a nuclear explosion, taking out both ships.

1,498 Bostopian sailers were killed in this incident.

The current Geesemonkey is an engineering marvel. Surprisingly unveiled on Bostopia Day 2005, it sports a helicopter landing pad, and room for two Bostopian Air Force 331's, a STOVL aircraft, which are permanently based there, as part of the Naval Air Force, for the defense of the Geesemonkey and some scouting missions.
