The Cachette de Lions Parliamentary Election of 2007 took place on April 12, 2007, and produced the 7th victory in a row for the Liberal Party, having held the government since 1983, although they lost 17 seats - mostly to the Social Democrats - including environment minister Robert McAllister in the previously safe seat of Jeansité-sur-Blanche East. Other shocks on the night included the loss of popular independent MP Joseph Gregor in Betwesley.
