Caesaria Bail is likely the most influential landscaper in the Resurgent Dream. She is noted for her serene, traditional style, avoiding abstraction and too much symbolism. She is considered the leading figure in the traditional school of landscaping and is often patronized by aristocrats and even royalty. She is best known for her work on the Acum Palace Gardens.

Biography

Early years

Ceasaria Ball was born in Gotham, Shieldcrest. As a young girl, she was fond of playing with an old dollhouse which belonged to her grandmother. As she got older, her parents noticed that Caesaria had become interested in creating elaborate settings for her play moreso than on playing with the dolls themselves. As she got older still, she became interested in helping her father with the lawn and her mother with the gardening, suggesting increasingly innovative ideas about how to arrange things.

Bail attended the University of Civic Duty where she majored in design. Most of Ball's early work was done for hotels and country clubs, places which desired a classical, aristocratic feel but which were not necessarily in a position to hire the established landscapers then working for the most prestigious families in society.

World travels

In 1985, Bail felt that her career had come to a standstill. Seeking to reinvent herself, she traveled and studied the styles of several different cultures, including Pantocratoria, Menelmacar, Adoki, and Excalbia. She did not return to the Resurgent Dream until she was asked by High Queen Agwene to design to Acum Palace Gardens. Since that time, she has lived and worked in the Principality of Amory.
