Status as a Colony

The Calyph Island Group is a colonial possession of Asgarnieu. It is shared jointly with Venada Island, Asgarnian Antarctica, North African Union, and San Mariano. Defense is the job of The Asgarnian Collective Armed Forces, or ACAF. The ANC Coalition may be called upon to defend the islands.

Modern Usage

The Calyph Island Group is rarely used by the Asgarnian Military, but the Calyph Islands International Airport can facilitate Asgarnian Collective Armed Forces and ANC Coalition aircraft. Today, the airport is used mainly to convey tourists from mainland Asgarnieu to the Calyph Islands.
