Carus Roma is a massive republic known for its conservative politics, business and financial dominance, military prestige, and traditional Judeo-Christian values. A federal republic comprised of three massive states, Carus Roma acts as a bastion of intellectuality and philosophy and a beacon of liberty, justice, and the Carus Roman way. It is challenged only by its allies in the region of Conservatopia.
States
The three main states of the Carus Roman Empire are Carus Roma, Ninjitsu Samurai, and Birkenstock Granola. The original nation of Carus Roma was simply the state thereof, yet after wars and confrontation, Carus Roma acquired much land and many satellite nations after crushing victories of both former enemies. Thus, Carus Roma is now a conglomerate republic of the three gigantic expanses of land.
Carus Roma - the main state and original nation before the Great Wars. In Carus Roma they speak English and a bit of Latin and pride their western scenery as well as their enormous cities and financial sectors. The capital city (and national Capitol), St. Laurence, is a raging metropolis comprised of sky scraping towers and a plethora of Roman and Greek architecture, a coastal port-city bustling with trade and a wealth of historical tradition.

The Constellatio Nova Party - The prominent conservative party. Over 64% of Carus Romans are registered members of the Constellatio Nova Party, President Laurence included. They pride themselves on free market economics, aggressive foreign policy in pursuit of the spreading of liberty, and traditionalist Judeo-Christian values in social conservatism. The NovaCons, the populists and regular folk, are simply trying to keep intact the essential philosophy upon which Carus Roma was founded, the beliefs and ideals that made her great.
The Plebeian Opus Party - The major liberal party. Near 15% of Carus Roman citizens are registered as Plebeian Opus members. The Plebeian Opus Party favors government regulation in business, Big Government social programs, universal healthcare, gun control, environmentalism, appeasement and diplomacy, higher taxes, and, generally, social liberalism. Opi shun traditional ways of thinking and claim it is primitive and simplistic. They wish to separate religion from government completely and form a secularized nation "not caught in the past". In a sense, they are moderate statist socialists and secularists. Their wish is, fundamentally, to reshape Carus Roma as a moderately liberal dreamland, a utopia of awry leftistism and socialized Big Government, pacifism her champion, "progression" her prize.
