Castosas

Castosas refers to the collection of 10 islands now known as The Republic of Lambon. This name is no longer used after it was originally lost in 1947 when the islands were split into 3 separate states. The Term "Castosas" was thought to have derived from the Native People of the islands from around 1600AD, and it is thought to have been of Portuguese origin.
