Press Conference with Beky Dalmars

At 8:30 last night The President signed Senate Resolution #34 in to law, this resolution allows the citizens of Philimbesi to who have been diagnosed with a terminal disease or condition to choose the time and place of their own demise. The time is yours.

Q: Is the president afraid of a backlash from the more conservative members of congress? Ms Dalmars: The President has in the past stated and continues to state that he is beholden to no specific branch of congress, nor the ideology of any of the congress. He will continue to sign and veto based on how those laws effect the people of the USP.

Q: That is well and good but does the president realize that the congress is the ones bringing those laws to him. Ms Dalmars: He has read the constitution Helga I'm fairly certain he's aware of how the process works.

Q: The President was visited by several members of clergy as well as his own personal priest does this signify that the church endorses his support of the bill. Ms Dalmars: The President was also visited by 4 members of congress, had a conference call with his UN liaison, and each member of his central staff, he listened to all opinions in the room and took many different view into consideration before he signed the bill.

Q: In regards to the the Qualified Medical Personnel clause there is some debate as to weither this will cause people who can't find a QMP in their own state to travel to a different state to obtain the Qualifing Documents is the president concerned about this. A: I'd say he's concerned about it as much as he's worried about people from one state traveling to another to get married. Which is very little.

Q: Is the government forcing doctors to murder? A: The government is allowing terminally ill patients to find consenting doctors to carry out their last wishes in no way shape or form does Dieing with Dignity force Doctors who do not wish to participate.
