Roania is the informal name for the Divine Illuminated Imperium. So termed because its main inhabitants are the Roanians. Rah means 'Home' in High Roanian (one of the few words in that language known to outsiders). The name the Roanians use for themselves is Ruanyiai, meaning 'Dwellers in the Home of the Light' and the only High Roanian proper noun that foreigners have legally learned.
