Cayrocasia is a loose federation of autonomous anarcho-syndicalist communes with a reputation for being pacifist. Chris Perez, whose dream was to build a free society, founded it in 2005.

Government

There is no government, only the voluntary cooperation of individuals. There are no laws, only two suggested rules to live by:

  • Do to others as you would have them do to you.
  • From each according to their ability, to each according to their need.

There is no longer a Charter of Rights and Freedoms, because freedom comes naturally and should be respected.

Economy

Everything belongs to everyone. All means of production and the products are communally owned and controlled by the community. There is no currency, because cooperation includes the distribution of what a person needs.

Demographics

There is a pretty much equal distribution of people who are of White, Black, Asian, or Hispanic descent in Cayrocasia.

Culture

Cayrocasia is rich in culture, with world-class museums, many bestselling authors, a thriving underground rock scene, and many famous artists. All television networks, radio stations, publishing houses, movie studios, and record studios are communally owned, so anyone can produce what they want with enough support.

Transportation

Cayrocasia City has an very widely-used inner-city high-speed rail network along with other lines connecting to the outlying areas and neighboring countries. In addition, the Chris Perez International Airport is a major transportation hub in the region.

Education, Healthcare, and Sciences

Cayrocasia has an extensive free healthcare system which includes vision, dental, hearing, and cosmetic services. Every citizen of Cayrocasia recives free education. Education begins at age 3 with first grade, progressing to twentieth grade. Starting at tenth grade students are allowed to choose what classes they will take, planning ahead for their future careers. Sixteenth through twentieth grades are the equivalent of college. There is also an extensive public library system. Cayrocasia also has its own space program, and numerous scientific research facilities including particle accelerators and medical research facilities.
