Member of Krytenian rock band Grassroots |
With his long hair and unkempt fuzz, Cecil Poldov was often likened to "a vagrant in football boots". However, this particular vagrant had skills on and off the pitch. He was the first man to win fifty, sixty, and seventy caps for Krytenia, and like fellow "Gang Of Four" member Chris Lydersen, was a creator of many goals for his side. Off the pitch, Poldov and his band, Grassroots, scored a string of Top Ten hits, including a Number One for World Cup 16 anthem "Blue Summer". Poldov now owns his own record label, CP4 Records, named in deference to his favoured #4 shirt.
