It is the standard language of diplomacy, and often official business in general, throughout Greater Aperin and Alçaera. It is also the most widespread of the languages of Aperin, with large populations of "native" speakers in many of the countries there.
Generally speaking, in the context of Aperin, Celdonian is assumed to be the equivalent of English.
