History
The Chapeltown Underground is sponsered by two main transport companies, Simonvian Trains and First Simonvia. In the last 5 years, there has been a major upgrade of the system. All the station benefitted from refurbishment, new stations were built at Bletchley Park, University and Raynes Park and extensions to Wolverton and Loundlsey Green were built. New 9 carriage trains were also built to replace the 3 and 4 carriage stock, handed down from Simonvian Trains.

About the System
Trains
The underground system used to be served by converted rolling stock from Simonvian Trains. Recently, these trains have returned to main line services as they were replaced by 9 carriage subway trains.
Stations
When the system was opened in Chapeltown, stations consisted of ticket machines, barriers, platforms and basic facilities. Now, almost all stations have staffed ticket offices, ticket machines, and other facilities, with the exception of Larkhall Street on the Wolverton extension. Chapeltown Central subway station has undergone an extra refurbishment as part of the Chapeltown Central Environmental Upgrade.
