Cholmestay is located near Thuvia in the Community of Sober Thought, and is called the Western Province. At 10.1% of the national population, it has the fourth largest number of residents in the country. Western Province is religiously, socially and political conservative.
Geography
It is located mostly on a semi-arid plain and includes foothills on its fringes bordering Thuvia. It has twin metropoleis, each with about 3% of the national population and maintaining a fierce rivalry. Besides Zelmafyerma and Nordentor, there are four other chartered municipalities in the province are all styled counties: Krasna 0.8%, Bela 0.6%, Cerna 0.5% and Pontloué 0.5%.
English is its official language, but French has some protection in the most rural municipality of comté Pontloué County. However, money is the real language everybody speaks around here.

- one Zelmafyerma Light Infantry, to the 6 series divisions of light infantry
- one Nordentor Light Infantry, to the 6 series divisions of light infantry
- four (railway, civil and maintenance) Cholmestay Engineers, to the third corps
- one Cholmestay Supply Regiment, to the 7 series division.
