The Church of Amory is the established church in the Confederal Member of Amory as well as the Confederal of the worldwide Anglican Communion and the Porvoo Communion. The Church of Amory is also in full communion with the Evengelican Methodist Episcopal Church.

The Church of Amory is often viewed as a middle way between Protestantism and Catholicism. It views itself as standing in both a reformed and a catholic tradition.

  • Reformed in that it rejects papal authority and is influenced by many Protestant theological principles.
  • Catholic in that it views itself as part of an unbroken apostolic sucession beginning with Christ and in that it retains more of Catholic liturgy and practice than most Protestant denominations.
