Childhood and Education
Claritia was born to Edhran Eärfalas and Clarwen of Gondolin on 2 Ender 5120 (26 Semptember 1961. As a child, Claritia would sit afar from the other children playing and she would watch, take notes, access situations, and brood. She would carefully see were her classmates would put their lunch money, valuables, and lunches and without even the teachers noticing she would take what she wanted.
As she got older, she no longer wished to just sit in the shadows and during her Secondary education she would make up elaborate lies and fabricate evidence against her classmates and make best friends into mortal enemies, force couples to break up. And as her peers would walk down the hallways in misery she would laugh to herself with sick pleasure.
Besides her “extra curricular” activity Eärfalas excelled superbly in both primary and secondary education. She continued in Military Academy before entering into the Imperial Security Bureau.
Civil War Period
In 5131 RCI (1972 CE) during the first years of the Civil war Gondolin remained under the control of the pro-Ardatomani'ists and enforced martial law, curfew and rations. Claritia had just graduated from Secondary Education and as the first two years of the war she remained in University. However, at night she would commandeer weapons and ammunition and worked as a pro-Marduuk vigilante assassin. She single handedly assassinated three of the four highest military and government leaders of Gondolin. She and the few men she recruited raided supply wagons, freed prisoners, killed militia forces, and raided granaries.
During the Siege of Gondolin, Eärfalas would smuggle information to the Marduuk forces via the secret and vastly unmapped catacombs under the city. She guided Marduuk troopers through the dark and damp catacombs and into the city were riots, started by Claritia, and been formed and during the night of the 28 Quellë (25 October) the gates were opened and Gondolin was liberated. Until the end of the Civil war, Eärfalas was recruited as a Marduuk assassin.
1st & 2nd Direcotorate
Before the historic Iron Alliance signed between Morindira and Tomania, the government believed that the Dominion might pose a great threat in the future. Eärfalas learned Hebrew to perfect fluency and her accent was unmistakably Morindiran. Because Morindira is a matriarchal society her place in the First Chief Directorate (see The Directorates for further detail) was of great importance, though, she never was sent on any missions to Morindira. She did though travel abroad to the United States and spent four years as a secretary in the Pentagon. Eärfalas also worked as an aid for the Dracorian Minister of Defense uncovering the capabilities of the Dracorian armed forces and their defensive measures. However, unfortunerly she was uncovered and narrowly escaped from Dracoriana.
She was then assigned into the Second Chief Directorate where she worked as a counter-intelligence officer.
Rise to Power
When Supreme Cordon Hedikai declared the Great Purges, Eärfalas , fearing that she might fall to his paranoia, began a personal crusade to ensure her survival. The Purges were a chaotic time, million of people died in the mass hysteria to report “criminals”, “suspects” and “heretics.” Fearing for her life during these ‘’times of trouble’’ Claritia would silence all those who might pose a threat and would arrest those who had the ability to put her on trial for treason or heresy.
Towards the end of the Great Purges, Claritia was appointed head of Imperial Security Bureau Gondolin Theatre, there it was that she earned the name “Claritia Serkëwen” or Claritia the Blood Maiden, for as the saying goes: She knows were all the bodies are buried for it was she who buried them.
At the end of the Purges Claritia Serkëwen was promoted to head the First Chief Directorate. During her time as Director of the First Directive she used blackmail and bribery to secure a spot on the Collegium of the Imperial Security Bureau, she fabricated evidence of treason and sedition to rid herself of her competitors and soon became the most feared and most respect person within the entire Bureau.
For her obedience and unflinching loyalty the Supreme Cordon promoted her to Director Imperious of the Imperial Security Bureau.
