His Excellency Comrade Claude Boldygin is the ambassador of the People's Democratic Social Republic of Ariddia to the Socialist Republic of Montegrande.

Born in Le'owsh, Ariddia, he was the younger of two sons. He lost the use of his legs at the age of 8 after running out in front of a bus, and has been in a wheelchair ever since. He attended the University of Southern Rêvane, obtaining degrees in sociology and political studies, then became employed by the Secretariat for External Affairs. He eventually came to advise the Council of Secretaries on matters of foreign policy, before ascending to the position of ambassador assigned to Montegrande.

Ambassador Boldygin is married, but has no children. He continues, informally, to be one of Rêvane's most trusted advisers on foreign policy issues.

Montegrande maintains an embassy in Rêvane, Ariddia, headed by Ambassador Monica Abreu.
