Claudia Unit (engine)

These remarkable engines, designed by a militaristic group within Partholan’s borders, known only as “The Guild”, are the only reason Partholan’s massive battleship-sized airships are capable of flight. The exact nature of the engine’s operation is a guarded secret. However it is known that the unit generates a fairly strong but contained anti-gravity field. These engines consume claudia fluid, a liquid created by the dissolving of claudia crystals with water. A note of caution: claudia units are relatively new designs and require significant attention during operation. The unit will produce a large amount of pressure for fuel processing and if the pressure is not maintained, the engine will fail. Claudia units also consume a small amount of oil as well. Smaller versions of the claudia unit can be found present on Partholan’s fighters.
