The Coalition of Free States is an alliance, created by members of England, Ireland, and the USK. While not officially in existence, and with no formal Constitution, it is expected to come into existence within the coming weeks.
History
The founding members of the CFS were also members of the now defunct Allied British Isles, who formed alliances with one another after the fall of the ABI.
Structure
The structure of the CFS was a compromise, where the voice of the people have a significant say, but where every region as a whole has equal representation.
Governing Committee
The Governing Committee is comprised of two nations from each member region. The Governing Committee sets policy, deals with matters of security, appoints various officials, and and votes on admission of new regions. The Governing Committee must give unanimous approval for a region to be admitted into the alliance as a full member.
Hall of Nations
The Hall of Nations is the governing body of which any citizen nation of a member region may participate. It's tasked with running day to day affairs, proposing ideas and rules. A super-majority of 75% is required for legislation to be approved.
