The Corporate War and the Birth of Colossus/JITA

Colossus/JITA was not created in a day. It was born out of chaos. The Corporate Wars in the Federation of Allied Nations between JITA and Colossus began when JITA was blamed for the destruction of aircraft transporting Colossus officials out of Adalya, Velenora after President James K. Riveria of Velenora declared a Corporate Lockout in his nation.

JITA was hit hard by the lockout as Velenora was one of its major markets and profits and stock went down. Colossus tried constantly to buy out the JITA corporation and at that point the CEO of JITA Shipyards decided it was time once and for all to kick Colossus Shipyards were it was hurt, that was a bad idea.

After those actions, both corporations were fighting to the point of a regional war and that time, OBERTH Orbital Platform of Maraudersoft decided that it had to stop this war and so agreed that JITA and Colossus should merge. Colossus Shipyards CEO, Fred Mayer was very happy with this while the CEO of JITA was very nervious and very angry, however, she was forced to comply as that was going to be the only way JITA would ever get back to selling in Velenora.

The Outcome of the forced merger was that Colossus and JITA would share all ship designs, all technology and would split all profits 50/50. So far this has not been a problem, however JITA officials complain now and again why they ever agreed to this.

Colossus/JITA after the Corporate War

After the Corporate War, the JITA/OBERTH merger was cancelled and almost all designs that were in the JITA database were taken out except the Dagger and Switchblade Fighters and the Shadow Class Carrier.

Today, Colossus l JITA is the Federation of Allied Nations largest enterprise and encompasses several if not many fields including starship construction, armament manufacturing, R&D, Commucations, Cloning, Stargate Construction and other daily businesses.

Colossus Shipyards

Colossus Shipyards produce and manufacture very good vessels. Some of their designs are based off older Jita models inlcuding the now-ancient Mordu Destroyer (Colossus counterpart: Exodus Destroyer). Some Colossus Shipyards special and exclusive designs and models include the PlanetLink 9700 and the Colossus Carrier, the biggest vessel that is manufactured by Colossus Shipyards today.

Jita Shipyards

Jita Shipyards produce some of the best ships in existance today. Most of Jita's vessels are powered by Quantum Sigularity Cores which under contract from Maraudersoft. Jita manufactures the well-known and feared Genesis-Class Mega Battleship. They have well over 500 laser cannons, 250 blaster cannons and a mulitude of other weapons. Only 3 of these benamoths are service, with one more in construction. Jita also manufacture the Enforcer-Class Battleship, the Armageddon-Class and the Aegis Class Battleships.

Jita also has a very powerful market in the field of starfighters, as they manufacture the well-known and very devastating Swiftdeath Fighter which has replaced several older models. They also manufacture the Dagger and Switchblade Fighters, both that are used on the Shadow Class Carrier. The Deathclaw has had some ups and downs but when you want results, when you plug the Deathclaw with the Swiftdeath, you can get anything.

Overall, Jita Shipyards is a well-respected name in starships and most nations who have purchased from them have been quite happy with their purchases. Jita Shipyards has been around since the establishment of the Raata Empire.

Aegira Technologies

Aegira Technologies is the well-known corporation for the manufacture of crucial jump-gate components. Aegira also construct full-scale jumpgates and trade lanes so far used only by the Caldari State for the increase of commerical traffic thoughout the State. The corporation has just completed the constuction of the first trans-galatic gate, however, the purchase of these types of gate are still in the works. Aegira is also a name that allows nations who are less advanced in Drive Systems (like Maraudersoft and the Caldari State) this is their savior as they allow nations to buy gates to expand their nations into glorious empires.

Jita Armories

Jita Armories is a sub-company of Jita Shipyards and they manufacture the weaponry used by the Caldari Armed Forces, some of the major rifles made are the DC-6, DC-8 and the DC-10. The armories also manufacture the tanks and uniforms also used by the army.

Nebula Equipment Yards

Nebula Equipment Yards is the major supplier of weapons, shields and other systems for Colossus l JITA. Their prize product is the SETA. This product is based on the phenomenon of time and space anomaly observed in the presence of singularity. The SETA is an attactment to a ship's operational engine, which can, when activated, compress time up to ten-fold. Due to the constrains of the space warp, it is not possiable to alter one's course and velocity due to time compression and the device will deactivate as soon as any changes in the ship's controls are deteched.

Nebula Equipment Yards works along side with Isuuaya Imperial Armaments. Recently, they won the contract to manufacture the special weapons used on the Titan-Class Destroyer, namely the Kyon Blaster Cannon and the Polarion Cannon.

CyberAI

CyberAI was once a small time company on Caldari Prime but when they received a mysterious order, they were thown into the limelight. CyberAI produces combat and special cybers as well as HERC's, which are being seen more and more by the army.

Lamor Implants

Lamor was once part of a very small and decated R&D company which was working on neural boosters as well as implants. When the company was placed in bankrupcy, it was bought by Colossus l JITA and is now at the forefront of implant technology. Some of their implants include combat and battlefield implants and some more daily implants for attributes.

Genolution

Genoultion is the main cloning corporation in the entire Federation of Allied Nations. Not only was it the first company to start offering clones to the public, but since then it has improved the cloning technique considerably, paving the way for others to follow in their footsteps. Genoultion sells clones in grades of intellegence and stregth as well as custom clones.
