Committee for Intelligence and Special Operations
The Committee for Intelligence and Special Operations (also known as the CISO and the Committee) is a large Committee for the Defense of the Revolution responsible for intelligence and special forces work involving the AWM. It was formed in 1978 by disillusioned former agents of the Israeli intelligency agency Mossad. It was absorbed into the AWM soon after the ratification of the Articles of the Working People in 2004.
History
The CISO was formed in 1978 as a disillusionment within the Mossad became rampant with the assassinations of Palestinian fighters and former members and/or organizers of the Black September terrorist group. It was formed by four Leftist officers of Mossad to combat rapid corruption within the Israeli government and eventually grew into a Marxist revolutionary organization. It also derived its name from the organization in which the majority of its members separated from.
In 2004, the CISO contacted the Convention wishing to acquire the necessary information to become a member organization of the Armed Workers' Movement. CISO soon became a member group of the AWM and began operations almost immediately. It has since grown so large and active that it has been seperated into several departments with sub-committees in which to run each section of the organization.
High profile operations
Its many successes in serving the AWM's security interests have earned the Committee a reputation for being extremely effective as an intelligence agency. Controversy exists over a few cases where it has employed the tactics of kidnapping and assassination. It has been at the forefront of almost every major AWM-backed operation since its assimilation in 2004.
Notable operations
- Location, capture, and summary execution of Nazi war criminal Charles Hayden. The CISO discovered that Hayden was hiding in exile in South Africa in 1980. He was captured and dragged from his apartment - naked - after his home was broken into by CISO agents. The agents later reported that the former Czar was in bed with two black Africans (one female and one male). He was executed after being beaten in the streets of Johannesburg.
- In 1981, CISO agents came in contact with a young Leftist in the former United States by the name of John Hinckley, Jr. Hinckley was interested in help from the CISO in order to remove then Govenor Ronald Reagan who was attempting to re-unite the U.S. as a strongly anti-communist country. CISO supplied Hinckley with weapons and the required intelligence. On March 30, 1981, Hinckly shot Reagan in Washington, D.C. with a CISO provided MP5KA sub-machine gun. Using CISO contacts inside the Pentagon, CISO used disinformation to throw the Kahtan government off the trail of CISO. John Hinckley, Jr., was later captured attemtping to flee to Whittier. He was executed without a confession.
- Also in 1982, the CISO provided information and weaponry to the Leftist group known as Direct Action. Later that year, using explosives provided by the CISO, Direct Action bombed several Litton Industries - a major arms producer - factories, effectively bankrupting the corporation and forcing it out of existence.
- In 1984, two CISO operatives entered into the home of current Vice-President of the Minnesotan Confederacy Major-General Lavelle Warfield, and using a .380ACP MAC-11 executed him in his sleep. His wife and children were spared due to them not seeing the two operatives. The CISO agents involved were never caught and are currently still at large.
- In 1986, CISO agents assassinated then Prime Minister of Israel Yitzhak Shamir before the Palestinian Liberation Organization stormed the Administrative Complex causing the collapse of Israel. Soon after, the nations of Lebanon and Jordan fell to what is suspected to be a joint operation between the CISO, PLO, and the Halladi government.
- In 1989, the CISO attempted an assassination on P.W. Botha - then President of South Africa. They initially failed; however, later that year, they were successful with the use a explosives beneath the President's bed. After Botha's death, his predecessor was forced to release - out of fear - Nelson Mandela.
- In 2005, after the acceptance into the Armed Workers' Movement, the CISO became active in espionage activities. It is reported that they infiltrated many nations upper-echelon, including: the Minnesotan Confederacy, Russian Empire, Daspraan Empire, and Tyrandis. Currently it is unknown which roles these moles play; however, many nations suspect it is for the planning of a massive, global "day of action".
Departments and personnel
It is unknown the exact headquarters of the Committee; however, many suspect it is somewhere within the Disputed Territories. It currently has six active departments and sub-committees:
- Collections Department is the largest, with responsibility for espionage operations.
- Political Action and Liaison Department conducts political activities and liaison with friendly foreign intelligence services and with nations with which Israel does not have normal diplomatic relations.
- Special Operations Department conducts assassinations, sabotages, etc.
- Information Department is responsible for psychological warfare, propaganda and deception operations.
- Research Department is responsible for intelligence synthesis.
- Technology Department is responsible for development of technologies to support CISO operations.
CISO is a civilian service, and does not use military ranks, although most of its staff have served in some form of armed forces or have undergone military training.
