Commonwealth Economic Council

The Commonwealth Economic Council was established by the New Amsterdam Treaty and is headquartered in Narich, the Resurgent Dream. Its aim is to coordinate the activities of the various central banks in the several Commonwealth members, administer the Commonwealth dollar and utilise the Commonwealth's structure more effectively for the promotion of global trade and investment and for the promotion of shared prosperity.

The CEC acts as a bridge between government and business as well as a currency management organization. It concentrates its efforts in the following areas:

  • The management and administration of the Commonwealth dollar and the promotion of its printing and distribution by the central banks and mints of the member states
  • Enhancing trade within the Commonwealth and between the Commonwealth and external economies
  • Promoting good corporate citizenship practices
  • Public Private Partnerships
