Commonwealth Space Force

The Commonwealth Space Force is a special military agency of the Commonwealth of Peoples designed to defend the Commonwealth's interests outside the Sol system, defend the Commonwealth against hostile space faring powers and explore the galaxy in the itnerests of science. The Commonwealth Space Force is an independent Commonwealth military. Its officers and enlisted personnel are not contributed by the military forces of the member states but are recruited directly throughout the Commonwealth. The Commonwealth Space Force, unlike other Commonwealth military forces, is subject to the Commonwealth Secretariat for Special Affairs rather than the Commonwealth Secretariat for Collective Security or the Commonwealth Defense Council.
