Conepassanto Banco di Sambuca (PAX800: CFG) -- English: Unified Savings Bank of Sambuca -- is Pacitalia's sixth-largest chartered corporate bank by assets and value. It has 4,776 branches in Pacitalia and 163 in Moepoeia. The official name of the company is such above, however, the bank now markets itself as CBdS Financial Group to better represent the wide range of personal, automated, and investment banking services for 197.8 million individual accounts in Pacitalia and Moepoeia.

History

CBdS was created in 1962, when ten credit unions and seven regional charter banks in the province of Sambuca merged into one operating unit to maximise their market share in that province. They took on the name Conepassanto Banco di Sambuca, which in Pacitalian means Unified Savings Bank of Sambuca. It was a name that truly represented the bank's origin, and their policy of customers first, profits second, like that of the slightly-larger Elementa banks, has paid equal dividends since then. The bank has managed to keep its small-town, locally-minded motif while placing a growing emphasis in national expansion. However, as of 2005, all but 265 of the branches of CBdS are located in Sambuca. The rest are in southern neighbour Liguria. CBdS offers, among its many diverse services mortgage payment plans, credit card programs, bill payment solutions, personal banking, stock brokerage and portfolio management.
