Confederacy of Green Waves

An island archipelago, with each nation occupying it's own island.

Started by Delbarton students as a rebellion against the oppression of the ruler of Isle of Green Waves, the Republic of Bashaw. At its height, this region had over 50 nations. Over ten Delbarton students had nations in this region, including Young Catlett, Rice, Daingerfield, Bogorad, Dunn, Chiang, Timmy, Semeraro, Payne, Wang, Doshi, Mr. Quirk, and a couple other people whose names I unfortunately forget. Catlett founded the region through the nation 'Borobudur,' and Daingerfield and Rice served at alternating times as UN delegates under the names 'Danger Fields' and 'ManyPinkFluffyBunnys.'

A civil war was started on the jolt forums, which eventually boiled down to everyone warring indefinitely on Dong Bang, the main island of The Icy Angel. A wiki, no longer active, was established at an external site, which detailed several nations' military expenditures for the civil war.

Later, the region conquered Isle of Green Waves. When Bashaw died and all the people in the Isle went to Appalachia for Christmas with Fr. Giles, a bunch of UN nations took over. Later Isle of Green Waves was conquered by Invaders, and later by The Icy Angel. Now Isle of Green Waves is underwater, completely decimated and forgotten.

The region decides things democratically. Most of us are politically conservative and we don't like the UN, but we still decide UN resolutions democratically through the consensus of non-UN members. The current delegate Annie Worshippers views each UN resolution objectively and without politcal bias.

Help!

Recently this region has been constantly under invasion. Why? Beats me. There are other regions just as good to invade, such as East Asian Dominion, so why invade this one. Unless you're planning to stay, why bother???

Fortunately, there have been many defender nations, such as Boolari and Bismarcia.
