The Confederal Assembly is the national legislature of the Confederated Peoples of the Resurgent Dream. It meets in Blain Manor in New Amsterdam.

In addition to its purely legislative functions, the Confederal Assembly is responsible for electing the Confederal Council, Supreme Court justices and a Grand Marshal of the Confederation in the event of war or national emergency. It must also approve the Confederal President's appointment of Confederal judges, ambassadors and certain senior civil servants, most notably the Confederal Chancellor.

Composition

The Confederal Assembly consists of two co-equal chambers. The Chamber of Deputies with 435 seats and the Senate with 149. Seats in the Chamber of Deputies are allocated among the Members proportionally, based on population. However, every Member is entitled to at least one seat in the Chamber. Each Member has from one to three seats in the Senate based loosely on population.
