The Confederal Association of Trade and Industrial Unions and Professional Associations is the largest national trade union center in the Confederated Peoples, representing 320,000,000 members in its affiliated unions. The CATIUPA's primary rivals are the International Brotherhood of Longshoremen and the United Workers of the World.
The CATIUPA has close ties with the Socialist and Labour Parties and looser ties with the Progressive Democratic and Democratic Parties.
