The Conservative People's Party (Conservatives, or CPP are common names) is the third largest party in Cachette de Lions. Whilst its influence declined between the 1930s and 1990s, it is now gaining seats and has 51 in the national parliament - but still over a hundred behind the country's second party, the Social Democrats, and over 200 behind the governing Liberals. Its leader, Ross Gray, was elected as leader in 2007 following the parliamentary election when incumbent Larry Oppen resigned.
