Current Constitution of Quaon

The following text is the constitution of Quaon, as it is today.

Preface

The Free Empire of Quaon shall abide by the text of this constitution in all policies. This constitution was created to help and protect the people of Quaon, and shall not be editted without a refurendum. This text strives to treat all citzens of Quaon equally. May it do so.

Article 1: Civil Rights

The People of the Free Empire of Quaon have the right to not be discriminated by the government or any other public institution for their race, gender, nationality, religious beliefs, sexual orientation, disability, political opinions, or proffession (assuming that said proffesion is not illegal).

The People of the Free Empire of Quaon have the right to live. The government will not take away this right unless someone revokes this right (by attacking another person, killing another person, requesting euthansia in extreme circumstances, or leaking state secrets) Life begins in the third term of pregnancy.

The People of the Free Empire of Quaon have the right to express their opinion without government regulation.

The People of the Free Empire of Quaon have the right to a fair and unbiased trial if accused of a crime.

The People of the Free Empire of Quaon have the right to a free education until their 18th birthday.

The People of the Free Empire of Quaon have the right to run for public office if they are over 18 and have no past criminal record.
