The Constitution of Sel Appa has had a long history of changes, suspensions, and re-enstatements. The first constitution was written up in 1250. Since then, there have been several versions that were progressively better.

Bill of Rights

The Bill of Rights was readopted with the current constitution, but has been in place for over two centuries. The rights were divided into several categories in the 1800s. They are Birth, Domestic, Law, Economic, and Other.


In order to promote the welfare of a nation and its people, the natural rights of its people must always be protected under any an all circumstances. These rights can only be added to and never subtracted for any reason. Any addition of a right may not null a previous right. These rights may never be modified in any way:

All living things have a right to a complete life excepting other living things that consume the former to live. All living things have a right to adeqaute food and water, as well as a safe, comfortable home.

The right of an individual to speak freely shall not be restricted unless another individual's free speech is hindered or prevented. The right of individuals to meet, discuss, and petition shall not be restricted under any circumstance. Faith, Belief, and Religion may be neither helped nor hindered by the government or its employees. No individual may be property of another individual. Nor may an individual mislead or manipulate another individual. The right to full, complete suffrage shall be extended to all literate individuals who have passed a short written test of political and historical knowledge. In order for our offspring to have a complete, stable, healthy upbringing, a marriage may consist of only one male and one female. In order for the public and private to defend itself, the right to bear arms shall not be restricted without just reason.

All individuals have the right to a fair, quick trial by jury. No one individual may be tried more than once for a specific crime. No individual may testify against himself. Nor may his parents, siblings, and children testify against said individual without his written and publicly stated approval.

The right to private property shall not be restricted without a two-thirds positive vote from the community. Any individual may conduct business for profit as he sees fit maintaining that no other individual loses their rights. A citizen shall not be required to aid the government in any way except a decent, fair taxation. The government is required to provide employment for all citizens who seek employment. The government is required to provide cheap, clean, and reliable public transportation if required to uphold all other rights of citizens.

Alcoholic beverages may only be consumed for religious or medicinal reasons. All drugs must be approved by a federal commission before sale of said drug.
