The United States of Cookesland's UN mission is quite special in that its shares it's Ambassadors and Office with The Free State of Aurania-Shifre (Through entirely legal means). The two nations both wanted UN membership for different means, however this was impossible so they came to an agreement. This pact known as the Twin UN Charted stated that Aurania-Shifre would hold the position, but Cookesland's delegate would remain as UN Ambassador when they transfered membership. The two countries each argue out the different points of the issue and then present them to the Ambassador who ultimatly decides the two nations position.

The original Cookeslandic Ambassador to the UN was Janvier Solana, who emigrated to Cookesland after a revolution in his native Aurania-Shifre forced him out of his job as Foreign Minister. He served very briefly before he passed away on March 11, 2007 and for a time after he was replaced by temporary Ambassadors David Swansea and Lostelle Caelia. Soon it became apparent to have a permanent delegate and so the job interviews began.

After mind warpingly long interviews, a mysterious person named Richard York was hired. Cookeslandic Secretariat of State Steven Andolor was later quoted as saying "He's the only one we were totally confidant in". In these same interviews a Deputy Ambassador was found, Fiore Acquerello was hired to assist the UN Ambassador.
