Coscivium Omnia

Coscivium Omnia is the last vestige of the one-mighty Coscivian Empire, and at above 140 million people, one of the largest city-states in NSEarth.

History

Coscivuim Onmia was once the modest town of Eastronium. It grew into a largetrading city, and was renamed Novosolarium. As the Coscivian Empire was slowly destroyed, millions fled to the imperial capital. When the capital itself fell, Novosolarium was the final refuge. The population swelled into the multi-millions. Finally, after years of defeats, only Coscivium Omnium remained. The Emperor began to order what was then shanty-towns into organised ayllus. Multiple walls were built, as well as a mile-thick outer wall.

Geography and Urbanography

The city is surrounded by eroded mountains to the West, making for a strong defence. The East is ringed by artificial bunker-hills. Between these barriers a bailey of well-guarded land. In further is the Great Wall, a mile thick, bomb-proof, fortified wall, bristling with solders, securitymen, and artillery. Inside this wall is countryside. Small mountains, large areas of farmland, forests, and three lakes. The City Wall is a half-mile thick, surrounding the town proper. Within the city are hundreds of residential sectors, each of a different ethnic or national group. Some, like the Anglev and Guerlev neighbourhoods, are expansive, while the Vanjozev commune includes only one street. Non-ethnic setors, and comercial-industrial quarters are the seat of the city economy. Governmental buildings, and the Imperial palace occupy an arcropolis in the centre. Praks are scattered throughout. Due to it's isolated and threatened nature, the empire-settlement has no waste areas. All materials are reused to limit the amount of shipments needed to suport the population.
