Cowsord

Cowsord is a settlement in Southern Kirav.

History

Cowsord,(Literally translated to Cow-Crossing), was founded as a maintenance post for a bridge. So it came to be, that this bridge was a good accespoint from ranches North of the river, to markets in the South. A small settlement was built, and an exchange of cattle for money, goods and services was built up.

Urbanography

The village is made of carc. MOst of the citizens live on the North banke, where the marketplace an forums are. The bridge stretches across the river to the south bank, occupied by small houses. Both sides of the settlement are surrounded by a defencive wall on all sides but those facing the river.
