Nation: Errinundera
Province: Delegate
District: Craigie Plains
Function: Feeding the nation
Population: Booming

Located on the vast grain belt and with a population of close to ten million, Craigie is another of the great, booming northern cities of Errinundera. Being the most north-eastern large city it sees itself as somewhat more international than other Errinundrian cities. This is, however, a delusion. Few overseas people know of its existence.

Relatively unsuccessful at football, the city does not have a major football stadium and there are, therefore, very few visitors. Travel agencies cannot imagine why anyone would want to visit when there are many, far more interesting cities elsewhere in the nation.

The central business district bestrides the Little Plains River which has its headwaters on the Errinundera Plateau to the south. Formerly the district was covered in dense forest, however this was almost entirely clearfelled during the Puritanicy (1905-1941).

The city's economy depends upon the grain harvest and a large food processing industry. Politically they are as rabidly left-wing as most other Errinundrians. The trade union movement is particularly strong with most community groups closely aligned with one or more of the unions.
