The Crocodile-class littoral combat ship (LCS) is a partial air cushion supported catamaran (PACSCAT) design made from high-strength and sturdy radar absorbent materials (RAM) such as reinforced carbon-fibre honeycomb, poly-vinyl chloride and vinyl laminate reinforcement for the rapid insertion of commando units. Only the gun, well-shrouded itself, disturbs the elegant profile of this vessel as all of its other weapons are located in VLS below decks. Two ramps in the stern allow for two Sea Krait RILC or Salamander RHIB to be deployed whilst in motion. This design uses clever emissions masking technology and techniques to reduce its signature.
